UNITEX has carried out a project to enhance the compressed air production facility located at the Olesa de Montserrat plant. This project involves a complete overhaul of the compressed air production system to meet the demand of the plant’s production. This has been achieved by incorporating new high-efficiency equipment, which helps reduce the energy consumption of the facility.

With a total investment of €93,777.18, this project has been awarded funding from the grant program aimed at promoting energy savings and efficiency for SMEs and large industrial companies. This grant program is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) of the European Union, coordinated by the IDAE and managed by the ICAEN. This funding is provided through the National Fund for Energy Efficiency (FNEE), with the goal of achieving a cleaner and more sustainable economy.
